How I Partner With Leadership

Three ways I strengthen your organization.

Whether your organization has an internal marketing department, outside agencies, or freelance designers, I help leadership make better creative decisions, align brand and marketing efforts, and build systems that scale.

01

Strategic Advisor

Helping leadership make confident brand and marketing decisions — in the room before initiatives launch, not cleaning up after them.

02

Creative Operations

Building workflows, templates, systems, and processes that increase speed and consistency across your entire team.

03

Brand Leadership

Ensuring every customer touchpoint communicates the same story — across campaigns, committees, events, and channels.

Client Transformations

Different organizations. Different challenges. Consistent transformation.

Each of these began as a defined project — and became a strategic partnership once the real opportunity surfaced.

Leadership TransformationAtlanta Black Chambers: Building a Scalable Creative Organization

Business Membership · Economic Development · Nonprofit Lead Creative Director & Strategic Creative Partner
7+ Year Partnership
Atlanta Black Chambers signature event

The Opportunity

Atlanta Black Chambers initially engaged me to create event graphics. As the organization grew, the larger challenge became the absence of a cohesive creative system — branding varied across committees, events, and campaigns, creating an inconsistent member experience and making it difficult to present a unified, recognizable brand.

The Approach

What began as a design engagement evolved into a seven-year strategic partnership. Today I partner directly with the President & CEO and Marketing Director — brought into conversations before initiatives launch to evaluate ideas, refine messaging, and shape public positioning. Every major branding initiative is reviewed through me before it goes public, and my focus has expanded from leading creative execution to building the infrastructure that lets the Chamber’s marketing scale.

The Solution

Brand System

Unified visual identity across committees, programs, and initiatives.

Creative Operations

Templates, workflows, governance, and scalable production.

Executive Partnership

Strategic advisor to the President & CEO and Marketing Director.

Marketing Leadership

Campaigns, presentations, events, and communications.

The Impact

  • A recognizable, consistent brand identity across every touchpoint
  • Committees aligned around shared creative standards
  • Accelerated production through standardized templates and workflows
  • Stronger sponsor visibility and a more professional public image
  • Increased executive confidence through pre-launch strategic guidance
  • Improved cross-department collaboration and alignment

Brand ArchitectureWilliams Park: One Name, Two Brands, One Strategic Ecosystem

Music · Media Production · Ministry · Technology Consulting Fractional Creative Director & Brand Strategist
Williams Park live worship performance

The Opportunity

Williams Park had grown into two distinct entities sharing one name: Williams Park LLC — the business behind media production, technology consulting, and artist management — and Williams Park, the recording artist and ministry. Their messaging, audiences, and customer journeys had become intertwined, and the founders needed a brand architecture that could support national growth.

The Approach

Rather than beginning with websites, I led the brand strategy that informed every touchpoint. I defined how the business and the artist would coexist — each serving different audiences and goals — then directed the creation of two distinct websites under one cohesive vision. The founders relied on me to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable strategies aligned with both their mission and business objectives.

The Solution

Brand Architecture

Two differentiated brands designed to grow independently under one vision.

Positioning & Messaging

Frameworks that clarify each audience and offer.

Dual Web Experiences

Distinct websites for the parent organization and the artist & ministry.

Growth Strategy

Community, merchandise, and national expansion planning.

The Impact

  • Two brands operating under the same name — clearly differentiated
  • A scalable architecture supporting multiple audiences and functions
  • Distinct customer journeys for the business and artist experiences
  • Clarified messaging across websites, marketing, and ministry
  • A cohesive visual identity for the artist brand
  • A strategic foundation for national ministry, media, and music expansion

"Rather than designing two websites, Nina designed the strategic ecosystem that allows two distinct brands to grow together while serving different audiences under one shared vision."The Williams Park Engagement

Campaign to PlatformThe Xchange Agency: Roots & Renewal for YE Foundation

Marketing Agency · Nonprofit · Community Development Fractional Creative Director · Brand Strategist · Campaign Architect
Roots & Renewal cultural festival

The Opportunity

The Xchange Agency brought me in to help develop a fundraising initiative for YE Foundation — a cultural calendar intended to generate sustainable revenue so the nonprofit could stop relying on its founder’s personal financial support.

The Approach

Instead of treating the project as a single fundraising product, I helped reimagine it as a long-term community platform. The question changed from “How do we create a calendar?” to “How do we create an initiative that generates revenue, celebrates culture, builds partnerships, and grows year after year?” That shift changed the trajectory of the entire project — and my role, from producing a campaign to architecting a platform.

The Solution

Campaign Strategy

A fundraising calendar reframed as a repeatable annual platform.

Brand & Identity

Visual identity and storytelling framework for the initiative.

Partnership Strategy

Sponsorship experiences and proposals, including the Haitian Chamber of Commerce.

Platform Vision

Cultural programming concepts, including FIFA World Cup opportunities.

The Impact

  • A fundraising calendar transformed into a scalable cultural platform
  • A strategic framework for long-term nonprofit revenue generation
  • Expanded partnership and sponsorship opportunities
  • Concepts supporting FIFA-related cultural programming
  • A creative vision built to outlast the original campaign

"What began as a fundraising calendar evolved into a cultural platform designed to generate revenue, strengthen community partnerships, and create long-term opportunities for the nonprofit."The Roots & Renewal Engagement

Mission-Driven GrowthSwing Into Their Dreams Foundation: From Golf Tournament to Growing Institution

Nonprofit · Youth Development · Education · Signature Events Creative Director & Strategic Brand Partner
6+ Year Partnership
Swing Into Their Dreams charity golf tournament

The Opportunity

Swing Into Their Dreams Foundation began with a vision: a golf tournament supporting students through scholarships, mentorship, and educational opportunities. As it grew, leadership recognized they needed more than event marketing — they needed a recognizable brand, compelling sponsorship materials, and a strategic creative partner to elevate the Foundation’s public presence.

The Approach

For more than six years I’ve served as the Foundation’s Creative Director, shaping how it presents itself to sponsors, donors, community partners, and attendees. The role extends beyond creative execution into strategic brand leadership — including speaking at the Foundation’s Career Development Day — and leadership’s confidence has opened conversations about expanding my role into Marketing Director as the organization enters its next phase.

The Solution

Brand Identity

Foundation and event identity built for recognition and trust.

Sponsor & Donor Materials

Presentations and collateral that communicate the mission to corporate partners.

Event Experience

Signage, environmental graphics, and cohesive event marketing.

Strategic Stewardship

Trusted advisor to leadership as the organization matures.

The Impact

  • A professional, recognizable brand presence across events and communications
  • Evolution from a local fundraiser into a premier charitable golf event
  • An event that attracts nationally recognized NFL players and sponsors, including Cisco
  • A consistent event experience through cohesive branding and signage
  • A brand built to grow with a governing board and national ambitions

"Today, Swing Into Their Dreams is no longer viewed solely as an annual golf tournament — it’s a mission-driven organization with a brand that evolves alongside its vision."The Swing Into Their Dreams Partnership

Professional Services PositioningJanita Green, CPA: From Brochure to Brand Strategy

Financial Services · Accounting · Tax Strategy Fractional Creative Director & Brand Strategist
NIL and tax strategy seminar

The Opportunity

Janita Green engaged me to design a marketing brochure positioning her CPA practice around three specialized service areas: Name, Image & Likeness (NIL), Real Estate, and Health & Wellness. As we worked through the messaging, it became clear a brochure alone wouldn’t communicate her expertise or support her long-term vision.

The Approach

I stepped back to evaluate Janita’s broader business goals, clarified how her expertise should be positioned in the marketplace, and expanded the engagement from a single marketing piece into a broader brand and campaign strategy — including a new brand direction that emerged directly from our planning sessions.

The Solution

Market Positioning

A CPA serving specialized industries, not a general practice.

Messaging

Expertise communicated clearly across multiple industries.

Campaign Expansion

A brochure engagement grown into a broader marketing campaign.

New Brand Direction

A strategic foundation for the brand that emerged from planning.

The Impact

  • Repositioned from general accounting to specialized-industry expertise
  • A brochure expanded into a brand and campaign strategy
  • Educational materials supporting NIL and specialized services
  • Messaging and assets built for presentations and business development
  • A cohesive direction aligned with her long-term growth vision

"What began as a brochure became the strategic direction for an entire brand — proof that the process works for subject-matter experts in competitive markets, not just creative organizations."The Janita Green Engagement

Executive Brand LaunchParker Leadership & Legacy Group: An Identity Built on Meaning, Not Decoration

Executive Leadership · Consulting · Coaching · Corporate Training Executive Brand Strategy & Visual Identity
Executive leadership retreat

The Opportunity

Pamela Parker was launching Parker Leadership & Legacy Group — a new executive consulting practice spanning leadership development, executive coaching, corporate training, speaking, and board advisory. She needed more than a logo: an executive brand that would establish credibility and resonate with corporate decision-makers from day one.

The Approach

I partnered with Pamela to translate her leadership philosophy into a premium visual identity — presenting the strategic rationale behind every design decision. The final identity centers on a pathway integrated into the “P” of Parker: the leadership journey every client takes, from uncertainty to clarity, from vision to execution.

The Solution

Brand Strategy

Positioning and rationale aligned to long-term business vision.

Visual Identity

Custom logo concepts, color palette, and visual direction.

Brand Style Guide

A complete system for consistent application.

Meaning-Driven Design

The pathway mark that embodies the brand’s core promise.

The Impact

  • An executive brand identity aligned with Pamela’s long-term vision
  • A cohesive system supporting speaking, consulting, and partnerships
  • A premium, leadership-focused presence for a new practice
  • A mark whose embedded meaning resonated — the client sought to understand the symbolism, proof the brand communicated more than aesthetics

"The pathway built into the ‘P’ of Parker isn’t decoration — it’s the brand’s core promise: guiding leaders from vision to execution toward lasting legacy."The Parker Leadership Engagement

Every engagement starts with a deliverable. The value is in what I see that you haven't — the bigger opportunity underneath the ask.

The Method

The AWARE Framework

Every engagement follows the same strategic process — Acknowledge → Witness → Align → Redefine → Execute. Because the transformation from "we need a brochure" to "we built a creative organization" is not accidental. It is the result of a clear methodology.

A

Acknowledge

"What are you trying to accomplish?"
We begin with the business objective, not the requested deliverable — the goal, the audience, the challenge, and what success needs to look like.

W

Witness

"What is really happening beneath the request?"
I examine the brand, marketing, team, systems, and customer experience to identify the deeper issue creating friction or missed opportunity.

A

Align

"What needs to work together?"
Leadership, messaging, creative direction, audience needs, and operational realities — aligned so the organization solves the right problem from a shared point of view.

R

Redefine

"What is the larger opportunity?"
The request is reframed around the greatest strategic value. A brochure becomes a campaign. A website becomes a brand ecosystem. Event graphics become a scalable creative system.

E

Execute

"How do we make it sustainable?"
Strategy becomes tangible — brand systems, campaigns, workflows, templates, digital tools, and governance the team keeps using after the engagement.

AWARE turns isolated creative requests into aligned, scalable business solutions.
